Every piece we sell is original and period. If one ever proves otherwise, you get your money back.

How we check

We examine each object by hand: materials, construction, maker and acceptance marks, wear patterns and ageing. Where a piece comes with documents, photographs or a family history, we record it. Pieces that pass carry the Geprüft stamp.

How we describe

German names as on the object, English descriptions. Wear, damage and repairs are stated plainly. Provenance is given where it can be proven and left out where it cannot. We do not sell reproductions, and we do not assemble "sets" from unrelated parts.

Our guarantee

Should a piece bought from us turn out not to be original, return it in the condition you received it and we refund the full purchase price, including shipping. This guarantee has no time limit.
